The New Addition to the Snyman Family
A little over two weeks ago, we had a new addition to the Snyman family. She's cute, curious, and cuddly, and she's very attached to her mum (me). She's also a furry, four-legged feline (and for anyone who is thinking about getting smart, I've seen felines with no hair, and also felines with less than four legs :-P). Yep, that's right, we got a kitten! She's about 7 weeks old now, and her name is Merlo.Read more »

My most humble apologies to all those folks who like to read our blog. We've been a little on the busy side lately, or a little on the lazy side (take your pick) and haven't written anything in ages.
Well, we had a good Christmas, the first as a couple. We decided to stay home and have our own Christmas lunch, which was delicious and nice and relaxing. Actually, we ended up only having lunch at 17:00 because we fell asleep on the bed shortly after getting home from Church!Read more »
Huzzah!
On Sunday, my family and I went to the Renaissance Festival. The "Ren Fest" has been a family tradition since I was probably only about 5 years old, possibly younger. Ren Fest is a traveling fair set up in the style of the European renaissance, usually somewhere in the 1500's. They have many artisan booths selling anything from jewelry trinkets to medieval weaponry; live entertainment such as comedy skits, music, dancing, jousting and a host of other attractions.Read more »
