Well, it's that time again folks- the time I get a bee (named Raoul) in my bonnet and blog!

Our son is AMAZING! I mean, I'm sure everyone already knows that from the pictures and videos we've posted, but really, he is. Zak JUST turned 4 months old, and from what I've heard and read, he's already starting to hit 6 month milestones. w00t- go Zak! Read more »

Zak has been making good progress with his milestones. He's started responding to us, "talking" and LOVES being thrown around.

Here I sit, with my son gnawing and slobbering on my wrist as I bounce him on my knee, pondering all the new things he's learned in the past couple weeks. It's really amazing how much Zak is doing these days. He's gone from just watching (and being watched) captivated at what's going on, to doing things that influence his surroundings (in ways not related to gobbing). Read more »

Today we finally got around to taking Zak to the clinic for his vaccinations. Apparently they usually start at 6 weeks, and I thought he'd be getting some at his 6 week doctor's appointment, but the doctor doesn't give vaccinations so we ended up with a clinic appointment for 10 weeks instead. As parents, we're supposed to teach and train our children, but I think at this stage he's the one doing the training! I know as the weeks, months, and years go by, I'll learn a lot from Zak and whatever children come after him, but right now I'm mastering the basics.
